There are HUNGRY CHILDREN in the Wonderful World of Dile: Presently a family of four on ADC recieves $3048/yr or $254/mo. This figure is 50% of what the State of Ohio has established as the minimun standard for health and decency. 100% standard would be $431/mo for a family of four. In 1976, the average number of ADC recipients per month in Cuyahoga County was 123,130. 81,200 were children, an estimated 14% of all children in the county..

In the face of escalating rent food, clothing and energy costs, the present level of ADC payments is extremely inadequate. Children in Ohio would have a better chance of surviving and breaking out of the poverty cycle if the minimal income needed for a healthy and decent life were provided.

Write your State Sonster today asking them to raise ADC grant levels in the budget to 100% in this years budget proceedings. Write the State House, Columbus, Ohio, 43215.
